Mitsubishi

Vehicle and Equipment Manufacturers

Mitsubishi is the car brand of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, the Tokyo company formed in 1970 from the automotive division of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. Its cars go back to the hand built Model A of 1917 and later included the Colt, Galant, Lancer, Pajero and Eclipse. For years many were sold in the United States as Dodge, Plymouth and Eagle models through Chrysler, which owned part of the company, and the Eclipse was built in Illinois by a joint venture with Chrysler. Since 2016 the brand has belonged to the Renault Nissan Mitsubishi Alliance. Every Mitsubishi model, generation and model year has its own page on this site, and each of them links back to this brand page.
