The Minicab of 1980 was in its fourth year as the third generation, with the altered grille and two more horsepower than before, the L013 with a 546 cc engine. Overall, 768,393 third generation Minicabs, the L012, L013 and L015, were built, which made it a very successful kei commercial vehicle, and it competed with the Honda Acty, the Subaru Sambar and the Daihatsu Hijet. The Minicab was sold in Japan at a specific retail chain called Galant Shop.
