In 1982 the flat floor van model of the Minicab adopted a double walled construction to offer a flat, open cargo area, and the four wheel drive model was also introduced, when the range received a minor facelift. The Minicab of 1982 was in its seventh year as the third generation, in the L015 form with the G23B engine making 31 PS. The Minicab was sold in Japan at a specific retail chain called Galant Shop. The Minicab was also sold in some export markets as the Mitsubishi L100.
