The Eterna Sigma of 1982 was in its third year as the second generation, the four door sister of the Galant Sigma at Car Plaza, with the grille and taillamps that differed from the Galant. The Eterna of the time was a car whose body was a four door sedan, though the third generation would add a hardtop and the fourth a five door hatchback, and it was a rear wheel drive car until the third generation. The Galant name is French for gallant and brilliant.
