Mitsubishi Minica

Automobiles

The Minica was a Mitsubishi kei car built from 1962 to 2011, a long running model line that began as a two door sedan based on the Mitsubishi 360 light truck and grew through eight generations, from a rear wheel drive air cooled car to a front wheel drive hatchback. It had Skipper coupe, Van and Econo versions, a sporty Dangan with the first mass produced five valve per cylinder engine, and the Minica Toppo, and it was exported as the Towny. Its direct successor is the eK, introduced in 2001. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 8 generations: the first generation (1962 to 1968); the second generation (1969 to 1971); the third generation (1972 to 1976); the fourth generation (1977 to 1983); the fifth generation (1984 to 1988); the sixth generation (1989 to 1992); the seventh generation (1993 to 1997); the eighth generation (1998 to 2011).
