In October 1970 the ME24F Yellow engine of the Minica gained four horsepower for a total of 30 PS, though the Van did not receive the upgrade, and the Red engine rose to 34 PS. The GSS version gained integrated foglights and four round headlights while the SS was dropped, and a luxurious GL version with high back bucket seats was introduced during 1970. The Minica Van was kept in production until eventually replaced by the Minica Econo in 1981.
