The second generation Minica 70 was introduced in July 1969 as a three door hatchback, with the traditional front engine, rear wheel drive layout kept and a rear hatch that was a first in the kei class. It had coil springs, MacPherson struts and a five link rear axle, a two door wagon, and the Skipper coupe, a miniature of the Galant GTO. It was a kei car sold by Mitsubishi in Japan. Its model years run from 1969 to 1971.
