1986 Mitsubishi Minica

Automobiles

The Minica of 1986 was in its third year as the fifth generation, a front wheel drive kei car with the G23B engine updated with a timing belt in place of the old noisy chain. Mitsubishi advertised it as a worthy competitor for the considerably larger cars of the one litre class, and it was exported as the Towny, which was also made in Taiwan by CMC. Air conditioning finally became an option. The Minica was much more spacious inside with its tall-boy design.
