In December 1974 the lineup of the Minica was again revamped, with the GL and SL becoming the Super Deluxe and the Custom, and the car was lightly redesigned to take the new, bigger license plates that were required for kei cars. The Skipper coupe continued in production until July 1974, restricted by emissions regulations, and the sporty versions had gone. The Van range continued to use the previous body. The Vulcan S engine came equipped with a balance shaft later baptised Silent Shaft.
