Ford Granada (Europe)

Automobiles

The Granada was Ford of Europe's executive car, introduced in 1972 to replace the British Zephyr and the German P7 and so complete the merging of its British and German ranges. Three generations followed to 1994, the last of them a rebadged Scorpio that kept the Granada name only in Britain and Ireland. It was offered as a saloon, an estate and, early on, a coupe, and the third generation was European Car of the Year for 1986. The American Granada of the 1970s is a different car with its own page. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 3 generations: the Mark I (1972 to 1976); the Mark II (1977 to 1984); the Mark III (1985 to 1994).
