In 1974 the Granada's V4 engine option, which had been short lived, was replaced by the in line Pinto unit, and the coupe was revised with straighter lines than the early cars. The Granada was by now built in both Cologne and Dagenham as a four door saloon, a five door estate called the Turnier in Germany and a two door coupe, with the Cologne V6 engines as the more powerful choice, and it was sold across Europe in saloon, estate and coupe forms.
