By 1982 the Granada's engine range had been strengthened with a more capable 2.5 liter engine, and the Granada again appeared in the top ten for sales in Britain. As of autumn 1982 the Dorchester was also available in an estate version with elongated rear doors, called the Windsor. The Mark II was now in its sixth year, with its 1981 facelift of wraparound bumpers and the three bar grille. The Mark II also kept its five door estate and the Dorchester conversion in the range.
