Ford E-Series (third generation)

Automobiles

The third generation of 1975 was an all new body on frame van, the first American full size van with body on frame construction, and it became common as a cutaway chassis for ambulances, trucks and buses. It shared its drivetrain with the F Series and was named Motor Trend Truck of the Year in 1978. Its model years run from 1975 to 1991. The E Series was Ford's full size van, sold as the Econoline and Club Wagon and as a cutaway chassis.
