The Australian Ford Falcon was a full size car made by Ford Australia from 1960 to 2016. From the XA series of 1972 each Falcon and its derivatives were designed, developed and built in Australia, after the American influenced Falcon of 1960 to 1971 had been re engineered locally as the XK to XY series for harsher conditions. Over three million Falcons and derivatives were made, almost entirely in Australia and New Zealand, and the last one rolled off the line on 7 October 2016. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 24 generations: the XK (1960 to 1961); the XL (1962 to 1963); the XM (1964); the XP (1965); the XR (1966 to 1967); the XT (1968); the XW (1969); the XY (1970 to 1971); the XA (1972); the XB (1973 to 1975); the XC (1976 to 1978); the XD (1979 to 1981); the XE (1982 to 1983); the XF (1984 to 1987); the EA (1988 to 1990); the EB (1991 to 1992); the ED (1993); the EF (1994 to 1995); the EL (1996 to 1997); the AU (1998 to 2001); the BA (2002 to 2004); the BF (2005 to 2007); the FG (2008 to 2013); the FG X (2014 to 2016).
