Visually, the 1991 EB Falcon remained nearly identical to its predecessor with subtle front and rear styling changes. This series saw the reintroduction, by Ford Australia, of a V8 engine option on sedans only for the first time since 1982. It also saw the reintroduction of a Falcon GT model, with the refined 25th Anniversary model limited to 265 units, and the first XR6 and XR8 sports models. The Series II model of April 1992 had a higher capacity 4.0 litre six. Its model years run from 1991 to 1992.
