The radically different Series II model of April 1992 reportedly cost 1 million Australian dollars and benefitted primarily from a higher capacity six cylinder engine, up 35 cubic centimetres from 3949 to 3984 cc, bringing its nominal swept capacity to 4.0 litres. The transmission and electronics were improved and externally the base model had body coloured bumpers and glossy exterior door handles, with improvements in safety, electronics and refinement.
