Automobiles

The XC also introduced the country's first locally produced family sedans with a suspension designed around radial ply tyres, known as Touring Suspension, initially standard on the Fairmont GXL sedan. The Falcon Sundowner Van, based on the Falcon 500 Van, was introduced in 1977, with options from the Falcon GS Hardtop. The XC had a totally different dashboard layout to the XA and XB series, new rear doors and very large bumpers front and rear.
