The Viper was Dodge's V10 powered two seat sports car, a modern interpretation of the AC Cobra that Chrysler showed in 1989 and put on sale in 1992. Five generations were built until 2017, with a brief pause in 2007 and another between 2011 and 2012, and about 32,000 were produced over 26 years. It earned a reputation as an intimidating car with huge power and no driver aids, and it became more accessible as electronic assists were added. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 5 generations: the SR I (1992 to 1995); the SR II (1996 to 2002); the ZB I (2003 to 2006); the ZB II (2008 to 2010); the VX I (2013 to 2017).
