Air conditioning was added as an option for the 1994 and 1995 Viper models, with climate controls that showed a snowflake icon for the air conditioning setting. The car had originally been built with no air conditioning, door handles on the outside or key cylinders. The 1994 Viper remained a two seat roadster with the 8.0 liter aluminum V10 and a six speed manual transmission, and it was still made at the New Mack Assembly Plant in Detroit.
