The Transit Connect is Ford's compact panel van, introduced in Europe in 2002 to replace vans made from the Escort and Fiesta and built on a dedicated commercial platform. The first generation was made by Ford Otosan in Turkey, the second in Valencia, and the third is a rebadged Volkswagen Caddy made by Volkswagen in Poland. Ford imported it to North America from 2010 as a passenger van converted to cargo form to avoid a tariff, and ended North American sales after 2023. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 3 generations: the first generation (2002 to 2012); the second generation (2013 to 2020); the third generation (2021 to 2026).
