The third generation, the Tourneo Connect, was released in Europe in October 2021 as a rebadged fourth generation Volkswagen Caddy, assembled by Volkswagen in Poland, with a Caddy based Transit Connect following in the United Kingdom and Europe in late 2024. Ford ended North American sales after the 2023 model year. Its model years run from 2021 to 2026. The Transit Connect was Ford's compact panel van, developed by Ford of Europe as a dedicated commercial vehicle.
