The Integra is the compact sporting car that Honda sells in North America under the Acura badge. It was one of the two cars the brand opened with in 1986, went through three generations of liftbacks, coupes and sedans, gave way to the RSX for 2002 to 2006, and came back for 2023 as a five-door liftback. It began life as a better equipped, sportier relative of the Civic, and its Type R version is held up by critics as a high point of front-wheel-drive driving. The same designs sold under the Honda name in Japan, Europe and Australia have their own pages under Honda. Generations with their own pages on this site: the first generation (1986 to 1989 model years); the second generation (1990 to 1993 model years); the third generation (1994 to 2001 model years); the fifth generation (from the 2023 model year).
