The GS-R stayed in the lineup for 1993, its second and last year, still offered only with the five-speed manual gearbox, and with it the second-generation Integra ended its North American run. A third generation had already been shown in Japan during 1993, with a new four-headlight front end, and it reached American showrooms as the 1994 model. Together with the 1992 cars, fewer than 5,000 GS-R models were built for North America, a figure confirmed by the vehicle identification number sequence.
