1992 Acura Integra

Automobiles

A fourth trim joined the range in May of the 1992 model year, the GS-R liftback, which had a 1.7 litre VTEC engine making 160 horsepower. It came only with a five-speed manual gearbox with shorter gearing than the other trims, plus a rear spoiler, alloy wheels and bigger tires. Fewer than 5,000 GS-R cars were built across its two years in North America, and the other trims carried on as before. The sporty trims shared the range with the entry RS and the GS, and the GS-R carried a rear spoiler, 195/60 tires and alloy wheels.
