Acura Integra (first generation)

Automobiles

The first Acura Integra was the compact car Honda offered in North America from the day the Acura brand opened. It took over from the Quint as a sportier and better equipped relative of the Civic, and the twin-cam 1.6 litre four-cylinder was its showpiece at a time when multi-valve engines were rare in small cars. Buyers in the United States could have it only as a liftback, while Japan and other markets also saw a four-door saloon. About 228,000 found homes over the four years, most of them in America.
