Mini

Vehicle and Equipment Manufacturers

Mini is a British small car brand that began as a model name in 1959, when the British Motor Corporation launched the Austin Seven and the Morris Mini-Minor, and became a marque in its own right in 1969. British Leyland, the Rover Group and British Aerospace owned it in turn, and BMW took the brand with the Rover Group in 1994. The original car lived on until 2000, and BMW relaunched Mini in 2001 with a new generation built mainly at Oxford, followed by Clubman, Countryman, Paceman, Coupe and Roadster models. Every Mini model, generation and model year has its own page on this site and links back here.
