Hudson was the car brand of the Hudson Motor Car Company of Detroit, which was incorporated in 1909 and named for the department store owner who financed it. Its Hornet became a stock car racing winner in the early 1950s. Hudson merged with Nash in 1954 to form American Motors, and the Hudson name stayed on cars through the 1957 model year, built at the Nash plant in Kenosha. This site covers those American Motors years of the Hudson cars.
