Hudson Wasp (second generation)

Automobiles

After the formation of American Motors the Wasp was built at Nash's Kenosha plant on the platform of the Nash Statesman, with exclusive Hudson styling but no trace of the old step down design. It was a comfort oriented car that could no longer win races. The 1955 version had a small six cylinder engine, and the 1956 version, restyled with Richard Arbib's V Line theme, was offered only as a four door sedan. Its model years run from 1955 to 1956.
