Hudson Jet

Automobiles

The Hudson Jet was a small car that the Hudson Motor Car Company of Detroit offered for just two model years, 1953 and 1954. Hudson built it to answer the success of the Nash Rambler and the Kaiser Henry J, and its development costs, along with weak sales of the senior Hudson line, helped push the company into the 1954 merger with Nash that formed American Motors. The Jet was the first Hudson dropped after that merger. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the only generation (1953 to 1954).
