Vauxhall Astra

Automobiles

The Vauxhall Astra is a compact car that Vauxhall has sold since 1980, for its first two generations the nameplate applied to right hand drive versions of the Opel Kadett and since 1991 to the same car as the Opel Astra, mostly built at Vauxhall's plant at Ellesmere Port in Cheshire. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 8 generations: the Mk1, 1980 to 1984 (1980 to 1984); the Mk2, 1984 to 1991 (1984 to 1991); the Mk3, 1991 to 1998 (1991 to 1998); the Mk4, 1998 to 2004 (1998 to 2004); the Mk5, 2004 to 2009 (2004 to 2009); the Mk6, 2009 to 2015 (2009 to 2015); the Mk7, 2016 to 2021 (2016 to 2021); the Mk8, 2021 on (2022 to 2025).
