Mercury Sable

The Sable was Mercury's mid size sedan and station wagon, the divisional counterpart of the Ford Taurus throughout its life, sold from the 1986 to the 2009 model years with a gap for the Montego and Milan in 2006 and 2007. Over 2.1 million were built, making it the third most produced Mercury model line behind the Grand Marquis and Cougar. It replaced the Marquis as the mid size Mercury.
