The Scrum is a cabover kei van, wagon and truck that Mazda has sold in Japan since June 1989, first under the Autozam brand and then as a Mazda. It has been a Suzuki OEM product from the start, the wagon and van being the Suzuki Every and the truck the Suzuki Carry, and it replaced the old Porter Cab. Its name is the rugby term for a scrum, chosen to suggest teamwork between customers and the Mazda group, and the Nissan Clipper, Mitsubishi Minicab and Town Box are its sister vehicles. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 5 generations: the first generation (1989 to 1990); the second generation (1991 to 1998); the third generation (1999 to 2004); the fourth generation (2005 to 2014); the fifth generation (2015 to 2026).
