The Scrum of 2008 was in its fourth year as the fourth generation van and wagon, with a flat luggage room, a front passenger seat that folded forward, and rear lamps built into the bumper to widen the cargo door opening. It had an all aluminium three cylinder 660 cc engine of 49 PS, and met the 2010 fuel economy standard plus five percent in the two wheel drive van. The Scrum was an OEM version of the Suzuki Every and Carry.
