The Scrum of 1992 was in its first full year as the second generation, a Suzuki Every and Carry based kei van and truck sold by Mazda under the Autozam brand, with the van using the mid engine layout and the truck the traditional cab over layout. It was offered with a 61 PS intercooled turbo or with 50 PS and 42 PS naturally aspirated engines. The front grille and bumpers of the Scrum van and wagon were the same as those of the Every, and the truck the same as the Carry.
