Plymouth Fury

Automobiles

The Fury began in 1956 as a gold trimmed sub-series of the Plymouth Belvedere, became a separate top series in 1959, and then moved between full-size and mid-size over the next two decades. It was a full-size car from 1959 to 1961, mid-size from 1962 to 1964, full-size again from 1965 to 1974 and mid-size from 1975 to 1978, when it was the largest Plymouth. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 8 generations: the early series (1956 to 1958); the first generation (1959); the second generation (1960 to 1961); the third generation (1962 to 1964); the fourth generation (1965 to 1968); the fifth generation (1969 to 1973); the sixth generation (1974); the seventh generation (1975 to 1978).
