For 1959 Plymouth made the Fury the second from top model of the line, replacing the Belvedere at the top, and introduced the Sport Fury above it. The Fury came as a four door sedan and as two and four door hardtops, with the Sport Fury as a two door hardtop and a convertible. The 350 engine was replaced by a 361 Golden Commando version. Chrysler Canada also sold a Dodge fronted version of the Fury in 1959 as the Dodge Viscount. Its only model year in this form is 1959.
