The 1976 Fury was a mid-size car on the B body, the second year of the seventh generation, sold alongside the full size Plymouth Gran Fury. Only minor styling changes occurred from the 1975 through the 1978 model years, and the Road Runner name moved in 1976 to a trim package on the new Volare. The Fury was by now the mid-size B body car that had formerly been called the Satellite, and the Road Runner was its sporty top model until that name moved to the Volare for 1976.
