For 1958 the Fury was available only in buckskin beige with gold anodized aluminum trim. The optional engine was a big block 350 called the Golden Commando with two four barrel carburetors and 305 horsepower. A 315 horsepower fuel injection version was offered, but its Bendix electronic system was recalled by the factory. The dual four barrel Golden Commando 350 was a big block option on any Plymouth Plaza, Savoy, Belvedere, Suburban and Fury, and a fuel injected 315 horsepower version was also offered.
