The 1968 Furys received only minor grille updates along with side marker lights and shoulder belts for front outboard occupants, except for the convertibles. At the rear, all models except the station wagons received new sheet metal, including reshaped rear doors on four door models. The VIP luxury version continued until 1969. Front outboard shoulder belts were fitted to all except the convertibles, and the VIP luxury model continued to be fielded in response to the Ford LTD and Chevrolet Caprice.
