Ford Galaxy

Automobiles

The Galaxy was Ford's large family people carrier for Europe, the first Ford MPV made and sold outside North America. The first generation was a joint project with Volkswagen, built in Portugal and sold with three badges, while the later two generations were Ford designs on the Mondeo platform, made in Belgium and sold beside the sportier S-Max. Over twenty seven years it grew from a Volkswagen engined van to a hybrid that Ford finally withdrew. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 3 generations: the V191 (1995 to 2005); the second generation (2006 to 2014); the CD390 (2015 to 2023).
