In 2019 the Galaxy was in its fourth year as a Ford designed people carrier on the CD390 platform, built at Genk with the S-Max. Its petrol engines were the 1.5 litre of 160 horsepower and a 2.0 litre of 240 horsepower, which could only be paired with the Powershift automatic gearbox. It was slotted between the Tourneo Connect and the Tourneo Custom in the Ford range, and was the first Ford brand people carrier made outside North America.
