The 2016 Galaxy was sold in Zetec, Titanium and Titanium X trim, the same trims as the S-Max, Mondeo and Edge. Its diesel engines averaged more than fifty miles per gallon, and a range topping Bi turbo with 210 horsepower used the Powershift gearbox only. The Galaxy was a seven seat people carrier that Ford built for the European market, sharing its platform with the Mondeo in its later forms. It was slotted between the Tourneo Connect and the Tourneo Custom in the Ford range, and was the first Ford brand people carrier made outside North America.
