The most economical Galaxy in 2017 was the 2.0 TDCi Duratorq 120, which could manage 57 miles per gallon. The 150 and 180 horsepower diesels came with a six speed manual or the Powershift automatic, and the 180 horsepower version could also be had with all wheel drive. It was slotted between the Tourneo Connect and the Tourneo Custom in the Ford range, and was the first Ford brand people carrier made outside North America.
