Chrysler is the car brand that Walter Chrysler launched in 1924, a year before his Chrysler Corporation took its name from it. For decades it sat near the top of the company's range, above Plymouth, Dodge and DeSoto and below Imperial, with models such as the Airflow, the Windsor, the New Yorker, the 300 letter series and the minivans. The brand has passed through the longest ownership chain of any American make: Chrysler Corporation, DaimlerChrysler, Cerberus and Chrysler LLC, Chrysler Group under Fiat, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and now Stellantis. It also gave its name to Chrysler Europe, whose Chrysler badged cars of the 1970s were sold in Britain and France. Each Chrysler model, generation and model year on this site links back to this page.
