Chrysler 300 non-letter series (1962 to 1964)

Automobiles

The Sport Series was introduced in 1962 along with the letter series 300H, when the DeSoto brand was cancelled. It came as a hardtop coupe, a sedan and a convertible with bench seats for all passengers, while the letter series had only bucket seats and a full length console. Chrysler added a four door hardtop that had previously appeared on the 1960 DeSoto Adventurer, and offered the 383 V8 where the letter cars had the 413 as standard. For Canada a Chrysler Saratoga was offered instead. Its model years run from 1962 to 1964.
