The second generation 300, called the LD, was introduced for 2011 as a four door sedan, a heavily revised version of the original LX platform with thinner roof pillars, a more raked windshield, LED lighting and a new grille. It used the 3.6 liter Pentastar V6 and the 5.7 liter Hemi, an eight speed automatic from 2012, and a 6.4 liter SRT model until the 2015 model year in the United States. It was sold as the 300C in the United Kingdom and as the Lancia Thema in the rest of Europe. Production ended on 8 December 2023. Its model years run from 2011 to 2023.
