Chrysler 300 letter series (second generation)

Automobiles

The second generation took Chrysler's Forward Look styling, with a wide trapezoid grille unique to the 300C of 1957, a Vista-Dome windshield, dual headlights and gradually rising tailfins. The 300C and 300D carried the 392 cubic inch Hemi, and the 300E of 1959 changed to the new 413 cubic inch Golden Lion wedge head V8. Luxury amenities such as leather upholstery, power steering and brakes and air conditioning were standard, and the cars set speed records at Bonneville and Daytona. Its model years run from 1957 to 1959.
