Chrysler 300 non-letter series (1979 Cordoba package)

Automobiles

The 300 name came back to the Chrysler line in the spring of 1979, this time as a $2,040 option package on the Cordoba coupe. It had special emblems and the traditional cross hair 300 style grille, was offered in Spinnaker White, with perhaps thirty painted Rallye Red, and had a red leather interior with red pin stripes. The package had the E58 360 cubic inch V8 of 195 horsepower with a four barrel carburetor and dual exhausts, police specification suspension and 15 inch wheels. Fewer than 2,900 were built. Its only model year is 1979.
