The Cutlass was a long running Oldsmobile line sold between 1961 and 1999, first the top trim of the compact F-85 and later a family of its own, the entry level Oldsmobile at its introduction and, from 1976, America's best selling car for most years into the 1980s. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in 6 generations: the first generation, 1961 to 1963 (1961 to 1963); the second generation, 1964 to 1967 (1964 to 1967); the third generation, 1968 to 1972 (1968 to 1972); the fourth generation, 1973 to 1977 (1973 to 1977); the fifth generation, 1978 to 1981 (1978 to 1981); the Cutlass family, 1982 to 1999 (1982 to 1999).
