Automobiles

In 1982 Oldsmobile began using the Cutlass nameplate as a sub marque, with numerous distinct vehicle lines bearing the name simultaneously. The more space efficient Cutlass Ciera was introduced on General Motors' new front wheel drive mid sized A platform in 1982, and during its run the Cutlass Ciera was consistently Oldsmobile's best selling model, with coupes produced until 1992 and sedans and wagons until 1996.
